(no subject)

All this week mom kept calling and asking if I'd found a job, if I'd had any calls for interviews, if I'd called that place where the job coach is arranged out of, and reminding me (as if I don't know it) that I have to find a job. Then Friday morning she called and said she and her husband would drive up and he'd take a look at my car, and I said I hadn't had any sleep and I couldn't deal with the car then, and she blew up at me, and after a couple minutes I just said I had to go and hung up.

The only call back I got all week about a job was on the Fourth, someone called and was like, I'm calling about our job opening and are you still interested. I thought it was super weird some place would be making a job call on the Fourth but I said yes, and was answering her questions, and then she asked for my date of birth, and that made me think it was a scam to get personal information, and I said I wasn't comfortable giving that over the phone. Who asks for date of birth in an initial phone call? I've never had someone ask for my date of birth before in an interview.

I am feeling pretty hopeless.
